Cherubs Room

The Cherubs Room provides care and education for up to 8 children aged 0–2 years. Our educators work closely with families to ensure each child’s individual routines, needs and preferences are respected, creating a smooth transition between home and the centre environment.

Developing secure, trusting relationships is a key focus within the Cherubs Room. Educators provide a warm, nurturing and responsive environment where children feel safe, valued and supported as they begin to explore the world around them.

Through continuity of care and meaningful interactions, educators support children’s learning and development through play-based experiences that encourage curiosity, discovery and engagement. Children have opportunities to participate in a variety of sensory, exploratory and age-appropriate learning experiences designed to support their physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.

Our indoor and outdoor environments are carefully planned to encourage exploration, independence and confidence while fostering a sense of belonging and wellbeing.

Treasures Room

The Treasures Room provides care and education for up to 10 children aged 2–3 years.

During this stage of development, children are becoming increasingly independent and eager to explore the world around them. Our educators work closely with families to support each child’s growing confidence, self-help skills and emerging independence. This may include toilet training, managing personal belongings and developing everyday routines.

Children’s interests, strengths and ideas are incorporated into the educational program, ensuring learning experiences are meaningful, engaging and responsive to their individual needs. Through play-based learning, children are encouraged to explore, investigate and make discoveries in a supportive environment.

A strong emphasis is placed on developing social skills and positive relationships with peers. Through collaborative play and group experiences, children learn important skills such as communication, problem-solving, sharing, negotiating and cooperation, helping to build confidence and a sense of belonging within the room community.

We foster an inclusive environment where children are supported to develop important life skills such as cooperation, problem-solving, communication and positive social interactions.

Children’s interests, ideas and emerging skills are reflected in the program to ensure learning is meaningful, engaging and developmentally appropriate. Bolton Point Child Care Centre has brought so much to my daughters little life. They are amazing educators and a staple in the Bolton Point community. My daughter has grown to have a strong sense of community and friendship because of the constant work that her educators put in. I know that she is always in good hands, fed nutritious meals and learning the basics and beyond. Cultural knowledge is something I regard highly in education and BPCCC does this in spades. Their use of Indigenous perspectives in everyday activities is truly heart warming. Thank you to all staff and committee members for doing what's best for our children!

I've been lucky enough to been involved with this BPCCC for over 10 years and It is the most amazing centre with incredible and passionate Educators and staff. The centre is welcoming and the Educators take care and love the children like they are their own. The centre maybe small but it's homely, nurturing, inclusive and WONDERFUL!!!

The BEST childcare centre in the area! The staff really care about our children, they feel like family.
The playground is amazing! And while children across different age groups spend time outside together, they also have time outside with just their own age group.
Did I Mention the staff? Tell them what your child is interested in and they actually follow it up!!! As well as taking the children on local walking excursions, there are special visitors to the centre (magician, reptileman etc).
AND they provide healthy food. AND nappies. AND are still reasonably priced!
CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH
